Charity Programs and Community Service Projects

The Prairie Fibers Weavers and Spinners Guild has chosen to participate in two Community Projects or Charity Programs.

They are "Warm Up America" and "Crossroads of Hastings."

Specific instructions for the "Warm Up America" project can be found at:
www.warmupamerica.com or in our Guild Library.

To participate in the Crossroads of Hastings, you will need to make an afghan (of any size).

~ Check the Guild Library at the Plum Nelly for details.

We are also working on providing a display case for the Willa Cather Dress at the Cather Center in Red Cloud, Nebraska. Willa Cather's dress is a teal green flapper, beaded, shift dress, thought to have been purchased with proceeds from her first book. It was found in a trunk and donated to the Cather Museum.
